| On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Travis Leon Pressley, passed away peacefully at age 74.Travis was born October 18, 1946 in Knoxville, TN to Leon and Virginia Pressley. He honorably served in the U.S. Army and was, in recent years, a very proud Vietnam Veteran. Post military service, he worked as an Iron Worker and was a member of the Iron Workers Union.Travis was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Many years were spent in pursuit of deer, ducks, and an endless supply of crappie. But nothing meant more to him than his family. Travis was a devoted son, and a very proud father and grandfather. He spent his last years in retirement taking care of his mother and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. His family was his world.Travis was preceded in death by his father, Leon. He is survived by his mother, Virginia, son and daughter-in-law, Leland and Chanda Pressley, his cherished grandchildren, Addison and Parker Pressley, his brothers and their wives, Rich and Linda Pressley, and Tom and Sherry Pressley, nieces, Jennifer Watts, Brittney Fischer, Amber Bol, and Kaitee Pressley, nephew, Brandon Pressley, uncle, Carl Ward, aunt, Patricia Tilley, and several cousins. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 5th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Forest Cemetery, 411 Concord Road, Concord, TN.Flowers or donations may be sent to Virginia Pressley at 136 Lane Road, Lenoir City, TN 37772 |
