James Moss Edington - age 81, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 14, 2003. Moss was a Veteran of World War II, serving with Gen. Eisenhower in the U.S. Army during the Battle of the Bulge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Minton Edington parents, Charles and Laura Leonard Edington sisters, Anna Lee Edington Taylor and Willa Mae Edington Valentine.

Survivors: sisters, Myrtle Lamons of Knoxville, Ruth Letsinger and husband, Tom of Roane County brother, Clyde Edington of Roane County, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Thursday in the Click Funeral Home, Farragut Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Elbert Kitts officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Pleasant Forest Cemetery with full military honors conferred by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. , 11915 Kingston Pike, is serving the Edington family. www.clickfuneralhome.com
