Russell Roberts Perry

Russell Roberts Perry, age 84, of Farragut joined his heavenly father Saturday evening, December 29, 2012. Russell was a veteran of World War II serving with the U S Navy. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a engineer in the Oil and Gas drilling industry. Russell was an avid fisherman, storyteller, loved making people happy, and seldom met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father, and the grandfather of two new grandchildren.

Russell is survived by his wife of twenty three years, Jayne Perry; daughters, Cheyenne Perry of the home, Cathy Perry of Florida; son, Russell Eric Perry of Vienna, Austria; step daughter, Heather Ard; grandchildren, Georgia Lynn Ard and Boston Bijan Perry; nephew, George Dials of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Interment will follow at Pleasant Forest Cemetery with full military honors conferred by the U S Navy and the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
